Rebecca Ker, M.S.W., R.S.W.
The therapeutic relationship is a main predictor of positive outcomes in improving mental health. Finding the right therapist, for you, is an important decision. I may or may not be that therapist, but I can tell you what I bring to the table in order to help you decide. I believe that therapy is the marrying of art and science. The strategies and tools I utilize and teach are well researched and evidence-based, but there is also the relational aspect. People need to feel comfortable, safe, and supported in order to open up and be present to do the work that it takes to improve their mental health. I encourage dialogue on what has and hasn’t worked for you historically, I see you as the expert on your life. My role is to ask the right questions to help you reflect and find healthier ways of being. For more information on the types of therapy I provide, please visit the Services page.
